Kachineri Karaikkadu Temple is positioned at Thirukalimedu in Kanchipuram
, facing the west. The presiding deity of the temple is Satyanatheshwarar and the goddess is Bhramarambigai. The temple is named after the path leading to it, that is bordered by thorny bushes.
