Jyoti Sangh, an
Ahmedabad based organization commenced its activities in 1934. The word ‘jyoti’ means lamp. Mridula Sarabhai established this organization with a view to spread the light of lamp in the homes of the poor.
In a short span, it has practiced various social activities and has played a pioneering role amongst several social welfare institutions of Gujarat. Jyoti Sangh helps women to develop self-confidence and also inculcates a desire and determination to live an independent life within the family, society and the nation.
