Jonha Waterfalls, also known as Gauthamdhara, is located 40 km east of
Ranchi between Ranchi-Muri rail line. It is about 150 ft high and is situated on the Rarhu River amidst dense forest. The fall is named after
Lord Buddha.
There is a temple dedicated to Lord Buddha nearby. The tourist rest house in the vicinity has accommodation provisions.
