Jogimallavaram




Jogimallavaram village lies 3 km south-east of Tirupati in Chittoor District. The village was the spiritual center, sanctified by a famous saint Srisuka.

This beautiful hamlet was once a division of Tiruchanoor. Major point of attraction here is an ancient Chola temple known as Shri Parasareshwara Swamy Temple. This temple is well known for the historic inscription of the Chola King Rajaraja I. It is believed to have been erected towards the middle of the 10th century. Shri Padmavati Devi temple is the nearby attraction. The world famous Venkateshwara Temple is easily accessible from here.

The nearest airport is at Tirupati.
