Jiiakarraagudem, a village at Guntupalli, is 60 km from Eluru in West Godavari District. This historic Buddhist site has a hill nearby. Here, one can see a few rock-cut caves with stupas. Some 3rd century structures including a circular rock cut temple with a monolithic stupa, a huge monastery, a brick chaitya, remains of a large pillared hall and 6 feet tall marble idols of Lord Buddha are also seen.
