Jiaganj is a small town located on either sides of the river Bhagirathi, about 9 km from Berhampore in Murshidabad District. The main attractions here are several Jain temples which include Adinath, Bimalnath, Shri Jiyagani Tirth and Sambhunath. The Murshidabad District Museum is situated here, which houses rare collections of art and artifacts and many sculptures. Nearby this town lies another important place Azimganj, known for its Jain temples.

The nearest railway station is Jiaganj Railway Station.
