Jharipani




Jharipani is picturesque village situated about seven km from Mussoorie in Pauri Garhwal District. It lies at an elevation of about 5,000 ft. Jharipani Fall is the prominent attraction. To reach this waterfall one has to trek 1.5 km from the village. Jharipani nestles among forests of oak and pine and meadows. It is an ideal spot for bird-watchers, nature lovers and trekkers. The place offers an excellent view of Doon Valley and the snow-clad peaks all around. Nearby places to visit include Bhatta Fall, Rajpur, Camel's Back Road and Lal Tibba. Trekking and mountaineering are arranged here. Accommodation is available.

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport and the nearest railway station is at Dehradun. Jharipani is connected by road to Mussoorie.
