Jhansi Festival

The historic city of Jhansi in Jhansi District, Uttar Pradesh, plays host to an annual celebration in February-March, called the Jhansi Festival or Jhansi Mahotsav. This week-long event held at several venues in the city displays the arts, crafts and culture of the region. The programs include folksongs, dances, recitals of poetic compositions such as mushairas and ghazals, and special feasts.
