Jhagadia has one of the largest industrial estates in the state, developed by Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC). Chemical, pharmaceutical and water intensive industries are well-established here.

Prime attraction of this industrial town is Shri Jhagadiaji Teerth, dedicated to Shri Adinath Bhagvan and managed by a trust named Shri Jain Rikhabdev Maharaj ki Pedhi. Bharuch Teerth is situated nearby.

Bhavnagar Airport is the nearest airport. Jhagadia Junction Railway Station serves the region.
