Jaya Deva Temple




Jaya Deva Temple at Kenduli near Bolpur in West Bengal is a famous shrine dedicated to Radha and Krishna. Although the original temple dates back to 12th century, the current structure is only 200 years old. Jayadeva mela or Kenduli Mela is held on the Makar Sankranti day which is attended by thousands of Bauls.

The nearest railway station is Bolpur Shantiniketan Railway Station. Daily bus services are available from Bolpur.
