Janardanaswami Temple




Janardanaswami Temple, located at Mandya is dedicated to Lord Vishnu as Janardanaswami. The principal deity holds the traditional shankh and chakra and is flanked by Sridevi and Bhudevi on either side.

Devotees from all over the country come to visit this temple when an annual car festival is conducted in the months of April-May.

Mandya is 99 km from Bangalore, 40 km north-east of Mysore.
