Jamni River



Jamni River, one of the main tributaries of the Betwa River, enters Lalitpur District by cutting through the forest near Madanpur village in Uttar Pradesh.

It flows northwards for about 45 km and leaves Mehroni town on its right. Then it turns north-east and after catchment area of 6 km, it comes to form the boundary of the district for about 60 km.

Jamni River comes near the Betwa River before finally leaving the district.
