Situated in
Juhu, one of the greener suburbs of
Mumbai, Jamnabai Narsee School is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE),
New Delhi. It prepares students for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examinations. The school, managed by the Narsee Monjee Educational Trust, was started in January, 1971.
Facilities include: a spacious multipurpose hall with a mezzanine balcony and a mini hall, a good library, and laboratories equipped with computers and audio-visual instruments. There is also a Science Activity Centre. The school has two dancing rooms where training is provided in Indian music and and dance. It offers training in drawing, painting, clay modelling and collage talents are spotted, developed, and fine tuned. The school has a very effective community service programme.
