Jammalamadugu




Jammalamadugu, also known as Jambulamadaka, is one of the prominent towns in Cuddapah District of Andhra Pradesh. Jammalamadugu is located 77 km north-west of Cuddapah – the district headquarters.

Jammalamadugu is famed for its sarees manufactured in the area and adjoining villages. It is equally famed for the trade in ghee, groundnut, maize and citrus fruits.

Proddatur to the south-east, Duvvuru to the north-east, Kondapuram to the south-west and Muddanru to the south are the major cities and towns nearby.

The place has good road communication. Kondapuram Railway Station is the nearest major railhead and Tirupati Airport is the nearest airport.
