Jami Masjid

Jami Masjid is situated in the old town of Gwalior. Built in 1661, it is one of the beautiful buildings in Gwalior. The large tomb of Muhammed Ghaus, a Muslim saint, is the major attraction. The masjid has hexagonal towers at its four corners and a dome which was once covered with glazed blue tiles. The tomb of Tansen, a singer during Akbar's time, is situated nearby.
