Jama Masjid

Situated in the center of the Main Bazaar in Bhopal, Jama Masjid was built by Kudsia Begum in 1837. Jama Masjid is noted for its beautiful gold minarets topped by golden spikes, apart from three bulbous cupolas. The interior is artistically laid out in marble and is a splendid example of Islamic architecture. A series of alabaster-white columned arches and a small pond add to the charm of the mosque.
