Jaldhaka River




Jaldhaka River, also called De-chu, is one of the trans-boundary rivers, which originates from the Himalayas of southeast Sikkim and flows through Jalpaiguri, Coochbehar, Muthabhana, Samsing and Jhalong (Jaldhaka) in West Bengal. It is one of the tributaries of the Teesta River and marks the India – Bhutan border. At Muthabhana, this river flows above danger level.
