Jahnu Kund is a sacred tank near
Garbhavasa at
Ekachakra in
Birbhum District. This tank is also known as Hantugada. It is said that the kunda was created by
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu with all the holy waters in the country.
This kund is surrounded by grass and a lone tree. Folklore is that it is the place where Nityananda, a saint associated with the Gaudiya Vaishnava sect, used to perform the dadhi-cida festival.
