Jahangirganj

Jahangirganj is a rural township in Ambedkarnagar District of eastern Uttar Pradesh. It is situated on an arterial road connecting Makhdumnagar and Maharajganj town in Azamgarh District. It is to the east of Akbarpur, the district headquarters, and about 60 km from Gorakhpur.

Kichhauchha Sharif and Govindsahab are the important religious places easily accessible from here.

Akbarpur Railway Station and Varanasi Airport serve Jahangirganj.
