Jahan Kosha Canon

Jahan Kosha, a huge cannon, is situated at a distance of 3 km from Murshidabad railway station. It was built by Janardan Karmakar of Dhaka in 1637. The canon is 5.35 m long, 1.35 m in diameter and weighs 8 tons. It uses 30 kg of gunpowder per shot.
