Jaghera




Jaghera is a small hamlet situated 4 km south of Ahmadgarh in Ludhiana District. This village is popularly known as Nanakpur Jaghera. Situated on Ludhiana-Malerkotla road, Jaghera is a famous pilgrim center of the Sikhs. Both Guru Nanak Dev and Guru Hargobind had visited this village. There is a beautiful pond considered sacred by the devotees. Guru Nanak had rested near this pond. Gurdwara Patshahi Chhevin is the major attraction. Thousands throng here during the major Sikh anniversaries. By road, Ludhiana is 27 km from here and the nearest airport and railway station are located there.
