Jagannath Temple is a highly revered shrine situated at the foot of
Kapilas Hills, in Deogaon, in
Dhenkanal District of
Orissa. The presiding deity is
Lord Jagannath.
Jagannath Temple was built by Gajapati Prataprudra Deva. The annual Rath Yatra (Car festival) is celebrated amidst much pomp and splendor.
