Jagaddhatri Puja is celebrated to worship the Goddess Jagaddhatri. It is held in the Bengali month of Kartik (November). Puja

. The image of the goddess is immersed as in durga puja
The goddess wears bright red clothes and is beautified with various ornaments as well as a sacred thread around her throat. She holds a conch and a bow in her two left hands and in her two right hands, a chakra and a five-headed arrow. Her mount is a tiger. This puja is celebrated in Bangladesh and West Bengal.
