Jadhs are a tribal community inhabiting the cold dry tracts of
Uttarkashi District. They are found socially and economically being engaged with other people who live in the adjoining tracts of
Himachal Pradesh and other parts of
Uttarkashi District. The Jadhs resemble the Mongolians in their features and they speak a Tibetan dialect as well as Garhwali and Pahari.
