Itanki National Park

Elephant Reserve of Nagaland



Situated in the Kohima District of Nagaland, Itanki National Park is one of the most prominent national parks and the elephant reserve in the state. This subtropical forest is spread over an area of 202 sq km. It houses tragopan kaleej pheasant, wild elephants and many other species. The park can be easily accessed from Kohima town and Dimapur railway station. Tourists are provided accommodation in the park.
