Isko Rock Art Site




Isko Rock Art Site is located about 1 km south-west of the Marwateri Cave at Isko Village in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. Also called Kohbara, this hundred yards wide and over a km long rock divides the Isko village from forest. According to experts, the painting on the rock dates back to the meso-chalcolithic period. It was excavated in 1991 and is about 35 km away from Hazaribagh.
