A picturesque village, Irumbuzhi is in Malappuram District of Kerala. It lies on the banks of the Kadalundi River and is an ideal place for tourists. The village has a beautiful landscape comprising small mountains, greenish hills and small rivers. Irumbuzhi, the place got its name from the Malayalam word 'Irimb' + 'uzhi' (Iron+soil). The soil here is rich in iron ore.
Tirur Railway Station serves this area. Calicut Airport is the nearest airport.
