Indranarayana Temple




Indranarayana Temple is one of the highly revered shrines at Bodhan in Nizamabad District. This ancient temple is believed to have been built by the Rashtra Kuta emperor Indra Vallabha.

The chief deity of the temple is Lord Vishnu. The beautiful pillar of Garuda is worth visiting. Muhmad-bin Tughlak caused great damage to this temple during his invasion of Bodhan. The temple was renovated in 1506 by Jogapayya, a disciple of Ashavamalladeva. An ancient mosque is the nearby attraction.

The nearest airport is at Hyderabad.
