Indira Gandhi Memorial Library is located within the campus of the
University of Hyderabad, in
Hyderabad. It is accredited to be the first library in the country to provide OPAC computer terminals to users with network access across the campus-wide LAN. There are over two lakh books, 750 periodicals and dissertations in the library. Besides, CD-ROM, multi-media products and 16 mm educational films are available. The library has been awarded the status of 'Regional Library' by the National Board of Higher Mathematics. Besides, UGC has identified it as one of the six document delivery centers in India.
