Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium




Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Delhi was built in 1982 for the indoor sports events of Asiad Games. Spread over 102 acres, it is situated between the Yamuna River and the peripheral Ring Road of Delhi. The main indoor area is fully air-conditioned and has a seating capacity for 25,000 people. It has a solid insulating soundproof partition at the center, which divides the main stadium into two. The stadium is also well equipped with audio and lighting systems.
