Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management was established in 1983. The institute has been conducting various conferences, seminars and workshops related to tourism and travel. It offers post graduate program in tourism education. The institute houses a well equipped computer centre with a total of 18 computers. The lab is equipped with modern office software. Its multimedia library carries thousands of books on tourism, travel and cargo management. The library also contains 126 audio-visual cassettes. Various sports facilities are also offered. Hostel facilities are available.
