Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM) is situated at College Square, west of
Kolkata. It was established on April 25, 1953 by the
University of Calcutta.
The institute offers post graduate diploma courses in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Transport Management, Environment Management, Sports Management, Energy Management, Hospital Management, and Bio-Informatics.
Separate hostel facilities with all modern amenities are arranged for both boys and girls. A well-stocked library is also available in the campus. The institute also has a placement cell that provides job opportunities for final year students.
