Indian Handicapped Welfare Association




Established in 1980 by Parveen Bahl, the Indian Handicapped Welfare Association is a non government organization for providing maximum benefits to the disabled persons regarding their future rehabilitation. It offers guidance to get all the benefits given by the government and gives adequate and free medical help. The organization conducts vocational training courses and arranges provision for appliances for the handicapped such as artificial limbs, calipers, crutches, tri-cycles and wheel chairs. Indian Handicapped Welfare Association also offers opportunities for the handicapped to participate in games and other cultural activities.
