Inchipparakota

Inchipparakota is a pilgrim spot located on the way from Azhutha to Pampa. The ascent of mount Azutha terminates at this place. There is a shrine of ‘Kottayil Sastha' here.

Breaking of the coconut and burning camphor are the main offerings made to the deity. Water is scarcely available in this place. Normally, the pilgrims exhausted after an arduous expedition relax here for some time. From here, one has to trek down through the damp and slippery way to reach Mukkuzhi.

The descent ends at Karimala thodu with Azhutha hill on one side and Karimala hill on the other.
