Imbingi




Imbingi is a short flute used by the Garo community of Meghalaya. Made from a thin bamboo, with its outer hard covering peeled off, this flute is closed at one end. The mouth piece is a square hole located half an inch from the closed end. Further ahead of the mouthpiece, there is a small slot is at a distance of half an inch.
