ISKCON Chandradoya Mandir




ISKCON Chandradoya Mandir is located at Mayapur in West Bengal. This temple is the international headquarters of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), founded by AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. ISKCON temples, dedicated to Lord Krishna, were built by the followers of the Hare-Rama Hare-Krishna cult.

The main deity of Chandradoya Mandir is Sri Radha Madhava. On the main altar there is a small set of idols representing Radha-Krishna. On the left altar there are idols of Advaita Acharya, Lord Nityananda, Lord Chaitanya, Gadadhara, and Srivasa Thakur together termed the Pancha-Tattva. Another altar holds the idol of Lord Narasimha.
