Hundru Waterfalls, against the backdrops of red wooded hills, is 45 km from
Ranchi.
Hundru originates from the Swarnarekha River, and descends down from a height of 320 ft. There is a staircase, which leads to the bottom of the fall. A pool, where swimming and bathing can be enjoyed, adds to the beauty of the fall.
Though the site is not on a bus route, the tourism department of the state government organizes tours.
The best time to visit here is during summers.
