Howrah-Rajgir Janata Express runs between Howrah Railway Station in West Bengal and Rajgir Railway Station in Bihar. (The Indian word ‘janata’ means ‘people.’) Main towns on the way are Bardhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Jasidih, Jhajha, Pawapuri, and Nalanda. The train operates daily and covers a distance of 553 km. Sleeper class coaches are available.
