Honey Valley Estate is situated in the
Western Ghats of
Karnataka, managed by the Chengappa couple. Nestled in the heart of
Kodagu, famed as the Scotland of India, Honey Valley offers excellent accommodation in the guest house or the main house. In the estate amidst coffee, cardamom and pepper plantations, lodging facility is also arranged in private huts. All the cottages are well-facilitated to satisfy the needs of the guests. Warm water, blanket, stove, and utensils are provided in all the rooms.
The lodge authorities organize trekking and day trips to the nearby places including Telecauvery, Nagarhole Game Park and the Tibetan settlement at Bylakuppe. Reference books are also offered to the guests.
The Estate is at an altitude of 1300 m and slightly difficult to access, but it is a thrilling journey for nature lovers. Traditional Coorgi food is made available for the guests.
