Homen Borgohain

Born in 1932 Homen Norgohain was a journalist and literary personality. He was the editor of Saptahik Nilacha, and Nagarik. Norgohain’s noted works include Subala, Pita-Putra, Halodhia Charaiya Baodhan Khai, Tantrik, Mor Sangbadik Jiwan, and Atmanusadhan. He was honored with the Sahitya Asademi Award in 1978 for his novel Pita-Putra. He has also won the Assam Valley Literary Award in 1991. Now he works as the editor of Amar Asom.
