Established in the year 1985, Hindustan College of Engineering is a Christian minority educational institution affiliated to the Anna University and is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India. The student community comes from all over India and countries such as Bhutan, Sudan, Bangladesh, Germany, France, Indonesia, U.A.E., U.S.A., South Africa, Oman, Kenya and Rwanda. The Courses are accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi, India. Courses include Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Diploma in Computer Technology, Diploma in Automobile Engineering (A.M.I.E.), Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Diploma in Technology (Automobile Engineering).
