Himachal Hang Gliding Rally is an international contest, conducted every May at Billing, 14 km from Bir Village. The clear and beautiful countryside stretching for a 100 km, and the high altitude make Billing a site ideal for gliding. Assistance can be obtained from Aero Sports Club in Bir. The best time for hang gliding is May-June and September-October. A 2 km trek leads to the nearest road.
Palampur Railway Station and Gaggal Dharamsala Airport are nearby. Dharamsala, Kasauli, Shimla and Solang are some of the nearby attractions.
