Hensikut

Hensikut is a town lying in Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies to the east of Srinagar (196 km) and is 14,872 ft above sea level.

Mulbekh (25 km in the west), Bod Kharbu (13 km in the north), Kangi (2 km in the east) and Kilchu (6 km in the south) are the nearby places. Mulbekh Gompa, Mulbekh Chamba and Futu La are the local attractions around Hensikut.

Hensikut is accessible from Mulbekh on the Kargil - Leh Highway. Jammu Tawi Railway Station, which is on the Jammu – Pathankot line, serves this place.
