Hemagiri

Hemagiri, also spelt as Hemgir, is a small town in Sundargarh District of Orissa. It is around 30 km south-west of Sundargarh.

Tongo Rock Shelter, Manikmoda Caves (5 km) and Junagarh Fort (4 km) are some of the tourist attractions nearby.

Hemagiri Railway Station is on the Jharsuguda – Raigarh rail route. Raipur Airport is the nearest airport.
