Hawa Mahal, the wind palace is located at
Wadhwan in
Gujarat. This intricately carved edifice was intended to be a lake palace, but was left incomplete. Around the Hawa Mahal, one can see Sompura artisans carving stones for various Hindu and Jain temple projects in India and abroad.
