Hasampura




Hasampura is an ancient village located about 11 km from Ujjain. The village attracts a large number of Jain pilgrims. Remains of pillars and temple parts belonging to the 12th century contribute to the archeological importance of Hasampura. Shri Aloukik Parshwanath Tirth is the major Jain temple centrally situated in this village. This temple houses the black colored idol of Bhagwan Parshwanath. Apart from this, the temple has metal idols of the 24 tirthankars. Ujjain Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead (11 km) and the nearest airport is at Indore (70 km).
