Haripur

Haripur, located near the banks of the Damodar River, is in Bardhaman District of West Bengal. It is around 10 km north of Rayna and 15 km east of Sakori. To the north-west of this town is Bardhaman - the district headquarters. Sehara, Khandaghosh and Jamalpur are the other towns located nearby.

Tomb of Sher Afghan, Golapbag Bagh, Rarheswar Temple and Curzon Gate are some ideal locations for the tourists.

Haripur can be accessed from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Barddhaman Junction Railway Station, on the Durgapur - Bandel line.
