Harikandige Shri Venkatramana Temple




Harikandige Shri Venkatramana Temple established around 500 years ago, is situated in Udupi District. This temple is surrounded by peaks in all directions. The presiding deities of the temple are Shri Laxmi Venkatesha and Shri Veera Venkatesha. Popular festivals celebrated in the temple are the chariot festival, foundation day of the temple, Phalguna Shudda Astami and Rama Navami.

The temple can be reached by road from Bangalore and Mysore. Mangalore Bajpe Airport is the nearest airport and the closest railhead is Udupi Railway Station. Local attractions include Shri Shiroor Math and Shri Anantha Padmanabha Temple.
