Hansot




Hansot is the largest village between Surat and Ankleshwar. It is a beautiful village in Bharuch District, Gujarat. The village lies 20 km from where the Narmada River merges with the Arabian Sea. The village is the home to the Hansotis. Farming is the main occupation of the villagers.

Surat city is about 50 km from Hansot. Surat Railway Station on the Mumbai-New Delhi-Ahmedabad broad-gauge line, is the nearest railhead.
