Hand Block Printing is one of the important crafts of
Madhya Pradesh. Vegetables and natural dyes like indigo, turmeric roots, pomegranate skin, iron and other color substances are used for this technique.
The Malwa and Nimar regions are famous for their hand block printed cotton textiles. The other important printing centers in the state are Ujjain, Indore and Mandsuar. Hand block printed products like sarees, dupattas, dress materials, bed sheets, pillow covers, and table cloths produced in these areas are famous.
